Unusual Service Planned by Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church.

Automobile Sunday will be observed next Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church [now ]. All members of the congregation who owns cars will drive them to church and park them around. Rev. Seth N. Genung will deliver a sermon on “The Laws of the Road.” This was a successful feature of Rev. Mr. Genung’s former pastorate. The monthly missionary meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock on the lawn adjoining Mrs. A. W. Powers’ home on Second Avenue [409 Second Ave]. This will be the final session until fall. Friday evening the weekly prayer meeting will be held in the church parlors at 7:45 o’clock. The monthly meeting of the Session will be held following the prayer meeting to receive new members. Saturday the boys of the church and their friends will meet at the manse at 9:30 o’clock to go on a hike with the pastor. A similar hike for the girls will be held the following week. The annual Children’s Day exercises will be held Sunday morning, June 12, at 10:30 o’clock.
