A glue factory had been on the south side of Farrell Road west of the intersection with Liberty Road, an area that had been part of Stone Arabia but never part of the Village of Lansingburgh or Town of Lansingburgh.
☞ The glue Factory of Mr. John Evans in Brunswick was burned on Friday night of last week. Loss about $3000.

At about 10 o’clock last evening, Mr. JNO. EVANS’s Glue Factory, located two miles east of this village, was discovered to be on fire, and before any assistance could be rendered, was entirely destroyed. How the fire originated, we have not been informed, but it is supposed to have been the work of an incendiary.
The property was valued at about $6000;—insured in the Rensselaer County Mutual for over $3000.
