Col. Johannes "John" Van Rensselaer
Col. Johannes "John" Van Rensselaer was an early resident and officer of Lansingburgh, and the first named by the State of New York as one of the first Trustees of the Village of Lansingburgh in 1790 and he served as President of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lansingburgh in 1794.Lansingburgh's Col. John Van Rensselaer was the nephew of the Colonel Johannes "John" Van Rensselaer (1708-1783) who lived at Fort Crailo.
